The Deckerville Train Station was originaly built in 1883. It is a generous donation of Harold and Joyce Reid of Deckerville. Inside there are storyboards that show visitors what working on a steam railroad was like, from laying the tracks, to running the train and everything inbetween. Volunteers have recreated the stationmaster's office, complete with the original depot clock. Youngsters of all ages will be entertained by the model railroad set up in the freight room at the back. As is the case with all of the buildings and displays at The Village, many families have donated their time, money and talent to make what you see here possible.
