The Barn Theatre

There’s something special about the old, gray barn, where sometimes on a particularly hot, humid day you can still get a slight whiff of the hay that was stored there years ago – something that calls to people and to actors. For many the barn is the only place they have ever seen a stage show. The Barn Theater is a come as you are kind of theater. The dress code is “comfortable” after all it is a barn. And we have something for everyone. Several shows are great for the entire family and some of them are for older kids and adults who want a fun evening out.

The theater started its life doing one just show a summer and continued growing until it now offers six full shows, plus a children’s show with all young actors, and three concerts; all between Memorial Day and Labor Day.  One of the few remaining barn theatres, but the Barn Theater is still thriving after a quarter of a century.
